Writer's Block: Have a drink on me

I have tried with no success yet, to make up my own mixed drink. The closest I've come(meaning the only thing I've made more than once,) was a martini variant with 2 oz top shelf gin, (Leopold's in this case,) 1/2 ounce of bokbunja-ju, (which is an excellent traditional medicinal black raspberry wine from korea,) and a twist of lemon. Shaken, not stirred.
I learned that old spinsters in England would frequently have a glass of cold gin with a spoon of marmalade or jam, and they called this, appropriately, "gin and jam." This has some of this same fruit-and-gin thing going on, but it is far less sweet.
