with all this patriotism in the media, i tend to hear acertain set of "patriotic" songs played again and again, usually to promote our red white and blue heritage, and i guess, inspire us to buy for the cause, or something. recently, a jeans commercial played the first three lines of CCR's "Fortunate Son"

Ooh, they're red, white and blue.

while we stared at young girls' butts and were remineded of how great america is (buy our jeans.) i found it amusing, considering the REST of the lyrics, which i find eerily prophetic of the whole Geo. Bush Jr. thing.
