Printmaking: A Slight Return

I made a small 2" square print for an increasingly late "Valentine" print exchange, (not late because of me, although that IS rather surprising in itself.) I had existential print problems, and drew a lot of sketches that involved trying to make a print to be used as a "ward" to get air into lungs, called "A prayer for breathing." I even carved two blocks involving this, but the small size prevented the proper translation of the image (It kept coming out as more of a "Prayer for a cut throat.") Finally, in frustration, I did a print about how cats (What else?) love the sun.
