He was one of the movers and shakers in the ultra right wing conspiracy movement. He was so far to the right that sometimes he'd come full circle and endorse something i wholeheartedy believe in, just for all the wrong reasons. Mr. Cooper was (supposedly) a former ONI agent, and Naval Intellegence Officer, he placed himself in the limelight by forwarding any crazy idea he placed his hands on as "something he recalled from his Intel days." At different times he:
If you are into that sort of thing, you really must read his book "Behold a Pale Horse," (my copy has gone strangely missing, but no moment, i loaned it out mercilessly,) for hours of sweaty-smoky-room-riddle-wrapped-in-an-enigma fun.
strangely, Mr. Cooper was killed in an altercation with Sherriff's deputies. As my good friend low_key put it, "You know, I don't think that he would have had it any other way..."
absolutely. i hope they had to pry the gun from his cold dead fingers... he would have loved that.
Perhaps the best footnote of all, is the warning on his website (in bold red letters, (they probably blink, but my IE doesn't support that tag.) )
- stated that JFK was killed by his limo driver. ("Freeze the tape!" he would say, "you can see him turn around and execute him with a nickel plated .45!")
- thought that the elder Bush administration was attempting to blow up the planet Jupiter
- claimed to have discovered "secret evidence" left in an old copier that outlined a Jewish conspiracy to rule the world.

Remain Calm! This is in no way a cause for action, but all patriots should be on high alert at this time.
