saint_monkeyI'm not sure how the meme goes ... "Things that have happened to me that may not have happened to you:" or somesuchsomethingorother. Anyhow, here's my list of things... in no particular order
1) Once, as I crossed the road in front of the University of Washington Bookstore, a crow flew down out of the sky and hit me square in the chest.
2) I was ran over by a dogsled.
3) I skipped my high school prom to hear Eudora Welty speak. I asked her if her stories came from actual events in her life. She said that while many of them were elaborations, they all had their seeds in actual events.
4) I fastened a wireless microphone onto Robert McNamara. I asked if he'd prefer it to be on the lapel or the pocket, (Figuring he'd've had more experience,) and he said "Whatever."
5) Along with two friends, I made a 30 minute combination live action stop-motion-claymation movie in 7th grade, called "The Secret of Ogg."
6) I sat in a cardboard chair made by a very famous artist. (One of his prototypes, in a gallery that will remain unnamed, since the chair was worth lots and lots of money, and though I did not harm the chair, I don't want to be blamed for anything.) It was suprisingly strong, and very comfortable.
7) I've met a whole room full of people that have worked inside Area 51. It apparantly was "classified, but cool."
8) I breakdanced (broke-danced?) very poorly I might add, at a high school assembly.
9) I carried a bass drum 14 miles through the streets of New Orleans during Mardi Gras. (as part of the Parade.)
10) I fell in love with a Mystery. More so every day.
