thanks to a really cool website (http://web.archive.org) I was able to find a number of web projects that I thought I'd lost for good, while they were stowed on the Udub's servers, and then deleted a couple of years ago...
Apparantly the service has been archiving much of the web at regular intervals since 1996 or so. They had copies of some of my old pages.
