Mundane update

saint_monkeyHoo boy. I could use a cuppa joe about now, I'm tellin ya. I'll go get one in a few, when I go mail the rent check and the prints for the bubble exchange.
I was walking in to work the other day, daydreaming, and at Pier 37, there is this big cruise ship loading up what looked to be a lot of band equipment. It got me thinkin that one of these days Metallica is going to be on one of those ships, as the house band. I mean eventually, it will be the only venue left for the band to sell out to. I can picture it now.... (Cue wavy wash-cut, and harp music, to scene of Metallica in cruise ship lounge in sequined jump suits, playing "The thing that should not be," rather sedately, with a Brazillian Jazz swing beat to it...)
Hetfield: Hunter of the shadows is rising... immortal... in madness you'll dwell... of course, here on Norwegian cruise lines, there is no chance of dwelling in madness as you join me, James Hetfield, and our drummer, Lars Ulrich, for drinks and entertainment tonight, in the fabulous Starlight Room, where the ladies are lovely and the cocktails are two for one, all week long... ...Fearless wretch, insanity, madness... lurking beneath the sea..."
