Serial: Grey Soldiers, part one

The first part of grey soldiers is up on tiny_dr_freud. This is my long delayed nanowrimo serial story. It's slow coming, and it starts a bit down in tone and will rapidly start taking some turns into the sinister, but I think you'll like it if you can stick it out. It has a heart of a gruff underneath it's gruff exterior.
