the following images are from my final in my beginning jewelry class. i realize that there are some pc aspects to a largely vegetarian liberal type choosing to make an item like this. i really wanted to make something that mixed some of what i think are the less attractive aspects of commodity collecting and aspects of the jewelry industry. i think it is also a reaction to being robbed. anyhow, i'm pretty proud of this, so i've included two images of it, and links to my work sketches, which show some of the ideas and research involved.
