We really need a name or a "tag" for frivolous partisan legislation that is introduced with the full knowledge that it will be voted down, or die in committee, and only exists to whip the listservs into a frenzy and appeal to some partisan hack's pet audience. Case in point, the "Constitution Restoration Act,"

Which, depending upon how you interpret it, prevents the court from punishing someone acting under the "law of god." (Yeah, that's a good idea.)

I swear, we need to be able to sue for legislative malpractice.
