Brace Yourself

• Girl wants to take girlfriend to prom,
• school says she can't,
• courts say she CAN,
• school says "fine," and cancels the prom and plans a "private" prom and
• then, like a nightmare out of "16 Candles," at the last minute, redirects Girl to a "fake" prom attended only by her and seven other people.

It's really really sad that in addition to excluding the young lesbians, the prom organizers further displayed their true colors and capitalized on the opportunity to turn away two kids with learning difficulties as well.

As a nice Post Script, Girl says that they all had the "time of their lives" at the fake prom.
