The Makah indians are ambiguous about the attention that a few rogue members are creating because they 'illegally' hunted a grey whale last year.  (The "whalers" are due in US Federal court next month.)  Even the parts of the tribe that condemn the action, refer to it as "akin to the Boston Tea Party" in its significance.
