are you experienced?
Nov. 5th, 2002 01:54 pmit's almost time to go.
have i mentioned that there is no coffee here in philly? well, there is coffee, sort of, in a loose sense of the word, but no one knows what quality coffee is like. They all think it is Starbucks. "you've committed frappucino!"
coffee777 said to me one day, now i know what he means.
I called Agilent today, they offered to give me feedback on my failed interview to get a job. Apparantly, i'm the only person that actually took them up on the offer for feedback. The feedback was, he didn't do anything wrong, we just had our pick of people, and he had less experience than the others. I have five years of relevant direct call center experience, but they said the rest of my resume is too computer oriented. They must really have had some super experienced applicants to find people with more than five years in the high stress CS field. They encouraged me to keep trying with agilent, and want me to interview if they hire more Customer Service reps. great. we didn't want you, but we still might want you, if we get relly desperate or something. maybe if one of the other people we liked turns out to be a liar, or on crack.
I wonder, why am i fighting so hard to be a CS rep? (I mean, why is there so much resistance?) The job market must really suck when i'm not one of the ten most qualified people to get yelled at all day.
sigh.
i'm going to make coffee, such as it is.
