when i am sorry
i am often simply sorry that i am in the position of having to say
i'm sorry.

but that's no problem, because
sorry doesn't mean anything
if you don't mean it.

cleaning out old art stuff

reminder: the robots aren't alive. but they appear to be. technology has advanced that far, you know. and in secrecy, t he first replicants were rolled out. all at once they were shunned. so fake, so aggressive, always begging for change and crashing on the couch and drinking the last beer. robot bastards. it would go right through them (a problem with the filters, way to permissive.) then they got a lot more sneaky about it. at first we could, tell the difference. they acted. stilted. robots, and... on the skin they... they were slow, that's what. and oh yeah, coated with some shiney plastic not unlike skin, sheen. slick with sweat in the leg warmers talking about jane fonda all the time, coated in that ... polymer that never stank. when they would sweat...it would never... like a thin sweet oil, (sometimes you can still find an early model in the gym, in a corner, circuits blown, smiling... the servos rusted closed so of course they never work out anymore, but they never change, and the free weights always stink of thier sweet smooth oil. ) always calling at inopportune times (no internal clock back then, you know) to sell you things for some reason, the whole idea of community got lost in there, they can't relate, and telemarketing,,, it just spoke to them, why not, a whole line of sociopaths without comprehension of other creatures. just numbers on a screen, potential markets...i heard the guy reponsible for the preservation routine got worked over on a rack for that, preservation somehow turned into an almost perverse egocentricism. but they are easy to spot, jus throw out a whole pyramid scheme at them, they love those. you'll round them all up (like those super early models with the malformed sense of community, always passing along spam to one another. there was a theory that the newer ones were ebcrypting a simple letter substitution code in there a little crypto key they could use to identify one another, and pass on the commands of the secret robot agenda, but that was just pothgead paranoia, as far as i can tell.) anyhow, the whole amway system is corrupt with older replicants... the CIA was actually using the infrastructure to tag and track the more sly ones. they just couldn't stay away. got to be the big boy on top. but now, the newer ones, are much more sophisticated, nearly impossible to tell them from, well normal people. you never can tell who you are talking to... i mean, you think you know someone, what they will do, etc. and then the next day they are replaced
and you don't know them at all anymore.
