The sun came up this morning

Much as it does everyday, but this morning, it seemed quite surprising, coming in through the dirty windows like a sneak thief while I finished my coffee. Buzz off! Was my thought, Don't want another day right now, give me a moment, I'll be right withya. The sun was resolute, and came right on up, put its feet on the coffeetable and started leafing through the paper, looking for the comics.
