Mystery got a job at Whole Foods, which will let me be lazy for a little longer. in addition to fair pay for little responsibility, they are giving her full benefits (after three months) and 20% off of groceries purchased there. (When you are buying all organic, that is a BIG deal.) Now i can feel free to get a simple job in the trades, perhaps as a printer or printer's assistant...
The 19th, 20th, and 21st sees the Annual Summer Arts Festival at the UW. I'll be bagging and placing prints there. I figure i'll work a shift in the booths as well. Because the market didn't bear the prices i placed on work in the U District Street Fair, (and since the UW is taking a smaller cut this time) I'll be pricing down, as will most of my colleagues, so it is a good place to go to get cheap art. (not that anyone can afford luxuries like that,) but i'm sure it would be fun to go and scope out. (Beats workin.)
